The vertical slice enabled us to finally find a strong partner, Nacon, whose support now makes it possible to realize the full potential of our vision for Ad Infinitum! It took us some time to build a talented and passionate team, who together created a high-quality vertical slice. Nonetheless, our passion for this concept never ceased, and Lukas Deuschel and Thomas Lenz decided to completely relaunch Ad Infinitum at the beginning of 2019.

First, we had to establish a professional game studio, some team members left in the process, and on top of that, the serious illness of a key team member forced a prolonged break on the production that lasted for almost two years. Unfortunately, that did not happen without major hurdles and setbacks. The success of the concept trailer back in 2017 took us by surprise, and the ongoing support from fans, motivated us even more to continue development on the prototype.

We didn't have a company or structure, developing in our free time and financing the project entirely with our personal funds. That's the elevator pitch for Ad Infinitum, which started out as a student project. In this surreal war-torn nightmare, you must overcome pain, despair, and corruption while fighting for your life and sanity. Experience the great war from the perspective of a German soldier.
